Legal notice
In accordance with applicable digital economy provisions and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), this legal notice applies to www.onespacehouse.com.
Preamble — Parties and acceptance
These Terms of Use (ToU) and General Terms of Sale (GTS) are entered into between OneSpaceHouse, sàrl-s, hereinafter “OneSpaceHouse”, “We”, or “the Publisher”, and any natural or legal person, consumer or business, wishing to use the website or engage OneSpaceHouse for one or more services, hereinafter “the Client”, “You”, or “the User”.
They govern use of www.onespacehouse.com, access to online content and tools, and the purchase or ordering of products and services offered by OneSpaceHouse. Only these ToU/GTS, any specific terms attached to a quote or order form, and applicable Luxembourg law govern the contractual relationship.
These ToU/GTS prevail over any conflicting clause in the Client’s documents unless OneSpaceHouse expressly agrees in writing. By signing a quote, placing an order, or using the website, the Client acknowledges having read and accepted this document in full. When acting on behalf of an organisation, the User warrants having authority to bind that organisation.
1. Purpose and scope
OneSpaceHouse is a professional services platform focused on practical solutions, supporting businesses, startups, and organisations in Luxembourg and Europe.
OneSpaceHouse performs its assignments in strict compliance with the accepted quote or contract, industry standards, and required professionalism. It deploys appropriate human and technical resources and may provide recommendations to improve effectiveness. OneSpaceHouse retains discretion over the means used to achieve agreed objectives.
The Client shall provide, without exception, all documents, access credentials, and information required to perform the assignment. Textual or visual content supplied by the Client must be reviewed and approved in advance; unless otherwise stated in the quote, OneSpaceHouse does not proofread or correct Client-supplied content.
OneSpaceHouse will not begin an assignment until:
- written acceptance of the quote or order form;
- payment of any required deposit;
- receipt of all materials needed for execution.
Any delay attributable to the Client (lack of cooperation, late or incomplete submissions, missing approvals) extends the delivery timeline by at least the duration of the delay. OneSpaceHouse may use independent contractors or subcontractors while retaining direction and responsibility for execution.
2. Services offered
OneSpaceHouse offers the following services, as defined in the accepted quote:
2.1 Consulting, management, and operations
- Process structuring, coordination, and operational support for SMEs and startups.
- Organisational consulting, project management, and business efficiency improvements.
2.2 Marketing and communication
- Brand strategy, visual identity, campaigns, and communication assets.
- Creative and/or production work (print, digital, audiovisual).
- Communication and advertising policy consulting.
2.3 Software development and product planning
- Custom applications, integrations, APIs, and business-oriented digital products.
- Product roadmaps, discovery, product-market alignment, and go-to-market support.
2.4 Financial reviews and analysis
- Financial analysis and recommendations adapted to the Luxembourg and European context.
2.5 Artificial intelligence solutions
- Laiss OSH AI: fine-tuned model for business operations and agentic actions via API, CLI, and custom interfaces.
- Custom AI projects: bespoke models, datasets, content generation, data analysis, and automated task execution.
- On-premise deployment or OSH AI Business box appliance when provided in the contract.
- Project references published on the website are examples of past work; they are not off-the-shelf products unless expressly stated.
2.6 Talent placement
- Access to a pool of qualified talent (including via the Toptal network) for ad hoc or ongoing assignments.
- OneSpaceHouse acts as intermediary or coordinator as specified in the quote.
2.7 Ancillary services
- Domain name registration and management (see section 11).
- Hosting, maintenance, and technical support when included in the contract.
Depending on the assignment, OneSpaceHouse may act as the Client’s agent for related deliverables and acquire necessary intellectual property rights (copyright, image rights, etc.) from third parties.
3. Prerequisites
To use the website or our services, the User must:
- be at least 18 years old (natural persons);
- have legal capacity to contract;
- accept these ToU/GTS;
- provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
Access to the website and OneSpaceHouse technical environments (APIs, demo environments, restricted documentation) is prohibited to direct competitors of our digital business solutions and their staff when access is intended for competitive analysis, benchmarking, or reverse engineering. Contact us first if in doubt.
4. Performance — approvals and changes
When applicable, a mock-up or approval version may be submitted before production, printing, or publication. It must be approved in writing (email or equivalent) within ten (10) business days of receipt, unless another deadline is agreed in the quote.
Any substantial change request, author correction, or scope change after approval is the Client’s responsibility and may require a revised quote and additional billing. If the Client cancels or interrupts work in progress, fees for work already performed or committed under the quote remain due.
If the Client uses third parties for printing, hosting, or other services, OneSpaceHouse accepts no liability for consequences of that choice.
5. Website use and general obligations
OneSpaceHouse uses reasonable efforts to keep the website available. The User accepts that interruptions may occur (maintenance, updates, technical incidents). OneSpaceHouse seeks to minimise their duration.
The User agrees to:
- use the website and services in good faith and in compliance with applicable law;
- not attempt unauthorised access to systems, APIs, or data;
- not decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer code or models except where mandatory law allows;
- not use bots or automated scripts abusively;
- not send unsolicited communications (spam) through our channels;
- not resell, sublicense, or redistribute our services without prior written consent;
- not claim a partnership with OneSpaceHouse without written authorisation.
OneSpaceHouse owes a duty of means regarding website and online service operation. Liability is limited as set out in section 10 below.
OneSpaceHouse may evolve services, features, and website content. Users will be informed of significant changes when required by law or contract.
6. Orders, quotes, and pricing
The assignment includes only what is explicitly listed on the accepted quote or order form. Quotes are based on information provided by the Client. Prices are in euros excluding tax (excl. VAT) unless otherwise stated.
Not included in the initial price: unforeseen extra costs, additional work requested during the assignment, third-party rights acquisitions (“stock art”), and options not listed in the quote. These will be quoted separately or invoiced additionally.
Prices and timelines are valid for one (1) month from the quote date unless otherwise indicated. Client acceptance is evidenced by signed quote, written confirmation, or deposit payment.
7. Payment terms
Unless otherwise agreed in the quote, a deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total amount is due on order. This deposit remains payable to OneSpaceHouse if the Client cancels after work has begun.
Payments are made by bank transfer or any method agreed in the quote. The balance is due according to contract milestones, including upon delivery or availability of deliverables.
The Client has thirty (30) days from delivery to raise substantiated reservations. After that period, deliverables are deemed accepted.
Overdue amounts may accrue interest at the legal rate in force in Luxembourg, plus recovery costs where permitted by law. OneSpaceHouse may suspend services or access until outstanding amounts are settled.
Until full payment, OneSpaceHouse retains ownership of deliverables and creations produced under the order, unless the quote provides for an express transfer.
8. Intellectual property
OneSpaceHouse retains intellectual property in its methods, tools, software, models, documentation, brands, and pre-existing materials, as well as in creations produced under its services, unless the quote expressly transfers rights.
Unless otherwise stated, the Client receives a usage right for deliverables for the purposes defined in the contract. Any unplanned exploitation, reproduction, communication, or modification requires prior written authorisation from OneSpaceHouse.
The Client warrants having necessary rights to content, images, data, and materials it provides. OneSpaceHouse is not liable for Client-supplied content or unauthorised use of third-party rights.
OneSpaceHouse may use the Client’s name and logo as a commercial reference unless the Client objects in writing. Each party retains ownership of its pre-existing intellectual property.
9. Personal data protection
OneSpaceHouse protects personal data processed in its activities in accordance with the GDPR and Luxembourg law. Supervisory authority: National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD).
9.1 GDPR roles
Depending on context, OneSpaceHouse acts as:
- data controller for data related to commercial management, the website, prospecting, platform security, and client accounts;
- data processor for personal data the Client processes through solutions, tools, or environments provided under a service (Laiss OSH AI API, software deliverables, etc.), where applicable.
9.2 Data collected
Data categories may include: identity and contact details (name, email, phone, role), billing data, connection and technical logs, content exchanged during the assignment, and any information the User or Client chooses to submit.
9.3 Purposes and retention
Data is processed to provide services, manage the client relationship, invoice, ensure security, comply with legal obligations, and, where applicable, conduct compliant B2B outreach. Data is retained for the contractual relationship and then archived according to applicable legal periods (including accounting and tax requirements).
9.4 Data subject rights
Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, within legal limits. To exercise your rights:

9.5 Sub-processors and transfers
OneSpaceHouse may use technical sub-processors (hosting, infrastructure, professional tools) with appropriate guarantees under GDPR Article 28. A list of main sub-processors is available on request. For transfers outside the European Union, OneSpaceHouse implements required safeguards (standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).
9.6 Security
OneSpaceHouse implements appropriate technical and organisational measures (access control, encryption where relevant, backups, logging) to protect data against destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorised access.
10. Limitation of liability
OneSpaceHouse is not liable for indirect damages (loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of data not attributable to proven fault, reputational harm, etc.).
OneSpaceHouse’s total liability, for all causes combined, is limited to the total amount actually paid by the Client for the relevant services in the twelve (12) months preceding the triggering event, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
Information on the website is provided for general guidance. OneSpaceHouse strives for accuracy but does not guarantee it is error-free or complete.
11. Domain names
OneSpaceHouse can assist Clients with domain registration (.lu, .com, .net, .org, .fr, and other extensions). OneSpaceHouse will pursue registration with competent registries without guaranteeing availability or absence of third-party disputes.
The Client is solely responsible for the chosen domain name and required supporting documents. Registration becomes effective only after registry updates and DNS propagation. The Client indemnifies OneSpaceHouse against claims related to the registered name.
Unless otherwise stated, the Client remains the domain owner. OneSpaceHouse may be listed as technical or administrative contact for management, as specified in the order form.
12. Non-solicitation
During the contract and for twelve (12) months after it ends, the Client shall not solicit or directly hire a OneSpaceHouse team member who participated in the contract without prior written consent. In case of breach, a lump-sum indemnity equal to the employee’s gross remuneration for the preceding twelve (12) months may be payable.
13. Duty to inform
The parties shall notify each other in writing of any material change in their situation (address, bank details, legal representative, etc.).
14. Termination and suspension
OneSpaceHouse may suspend or terminate website or service access in case of breach of these ToU/GTS, non-payment, abusive behaviour, or any legitimate and proportionate reason, with notice where reasonably possible.
Provisions on intellectual property, confidentiality, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
15. Changes to these terms
OneSpaceHouse may amend these ToU/GTS. The current version is published at: https://www.onespacehouse.com/en/legal-terms/ (French version: https://www.onespacehouse.com/fr/mentions-legales/). For ongoing contracts, material changes will be communicated to the Client; either party may terminate according to applicable contractual terms if they disagree.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These ToU/GTS are governed by Luxembourg law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. In case of dispute and failing amicable resolution, the courts of Luxembourg shall have exclusive jurisdiction, in particular the Luxembourg District Court — City, commercial chamber, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
